The album description mentions an “emotional apex.” That’s really the difference between Stare and the band’s previous albums. Ulcerate was always supremely technically proficient. I just didn’t care all that much. Their growth has come from making music you will feel.

One of my very first metal albums that i listened to, and i still listen to it almost every week, Artificial brain do an amazing job of creating a brutal and atmospheric sound, with a great deal of technical guitar and unique parts of each track, worth every penny

This is great stuff. You’ll be listening repeatedly. It’s a surprisingly fun album on the progressive side, though it’s also heavy blackened death. If you like Exocrine or Sarpanitum you should dig this.
